The Washbox – Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Can I bring my washing in and do it myself?
A. Yes – 7 days a week 08:00 – 20:00

Q. I am more than 5 miles away can you still collect from me?
A. We usually will provide the service if you are a little further away but we may charge a small fee for this. Contact us so we can give you a definite answer.

Q. Can I use my own Soap Powder and Conditioner?
A. Yes – with self service and our service washes.

Q. Do I need to bring change to use the machines?
A. No – we can give you change during our service times.

Q. How long do your washing machines take?
A. The washing machine cycles are approximately 30 minutes.

Q. Do you have Parking?
A. Yes we have limited on-site parking. The surrounding streets have Pay and Display parking bays.

Q. Can I pay by card?
A. Yes – we accept card payment for all services however self service machines are cash only.

Q. Do I have to wait in the laundrette whilst using the machines?
A. No – you can load the machines then come back later.

Q. I am a business owner and need a price per item, can you do this for me?
A. Absolutely – Contact us and we can give you a quote.

Q. My washing machine has broken down and I have lots of clothes that are soaked can you wash these for me?
A. Yes – that’s no problem.

Q. Can you provide a wash only or a dry only service?
A. Yes – if that is all you need, that is what we will do.
